Newly owned and named Querencia is an Alden 44. Originally built in the 1980s, wear and tear over time caused significant cracking and delamination down the sides of her hull. We worked hard to strip off the old, damaged and delaminating fiberglass and re-glassed the entire hull. From there, we faired it, re-painted it with a new color scheme and added some deepsea customizations to get her ready for a transatlantic trip to the Azores, Portugal.
