Complete Overhaul

This Dyer 29 was in need of a system overhaul. The engine was removed along with both port & stbd fuel tanks. New tanks were fabricated and installed and the fuel delivery system brought up to current ABYC standards.

Engine

The old Volvo was replaced with a new Yanmar 6BY-260 electronic engine which fit in nicely. The owner preferred his old 2-lever, Morse-type engine controls, so we also installed a mechanical to digital converter for the throttle side so he could keep his favorite controls.

We then removed the gauge cluster from the Yanmar panel and let them into a new teak panel at the helm.

Battery

With the battery system brought up to ABYC standards, she’s ready for sea trials and many years of enjoyment on the water.
